Well, our wedding and honeymoon are done and while we had so much fun spending all of that time together, it is so nice to be back in Los Angeles and home.
St. Lucia was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the island. Of course our trip included things like snorkeling and other excursions, but the part I think we loved the most was the all-inclusive resort. I can’t imagine traveling to another Caribbean island any other way. All of our food and drinks were included so we could eat as much as we wanted. And boy, did we eat! We’re not talking simple burgers and sandwiches here people, we are talking about 5-star (in our minds anyways) restaurants. Our favorite was The Pitans Restaurant which served Caribbean cuisine. It was by far our favorite. Every meal we had there was amazingly satisfying. Their surf and turf included one of the best steaks I had ever had. » Read the rest of this entry «

We are sitting at the Miami International Airport waiting to begin our honeymoon!! The last few hours we have reflected on Sunday and all the wonderful compliments and well wishes from all our family and friends. We had a great time on our wedding day, and it was only because we shared it with all our favorite people.
Now, as we set off on our journey together, David and I will keep the vows we took in our hearts. With your continued prayers, we will have a successful marriage. Love you all!!

It was a busy week off but I think we felt like we got a lot done. And no matter how busy, it is still better than being at work so I can’t really complain too much.
One of the bigger things that we got done was our Honeymoon reservations. So our trip is booked and my bank account is a little lighter. Our travel location?
Beautiful Saint Lucia, an island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It met a number of the criteria that we were looking for.
- Relaxing tropical beaches.
- Beautiful scenery to take pictures of with my new camera.
- Things to do and see around the island when we do not want to just be lazy by the water.
- Out of the country.
- Somewhere we have never been.
- Good food.
We will be staying at an all inclusive Sandals resort so it should be a lot of fun. I am going to eat all of their food. I just need to make sure to get my telephoto lens before then so I can put more pics on my photo site, QwikFocus.com.
We’ll try to keep the blog updated too while there so you can share the joy with us. If there is time. Maybe.
Oh yeah, and Happy New Year!
